Rückschlagventil (Rückflussverhinderer), Ein- und Auslass 1.5 Zoll, für Schwimmbad-Rohrleitungen. Zwei verklebte Hälften mit transparentem Gehäuse, sodass das Schließen der Klappe beobachtet und jeder Rückfluss ohne Demontage festgestellt werden kann. In die Saugleitung einbauen, wenn die Pumpe über dem Wasserspiegel steht, damit die Pumpe angesaugt bleibt; in die Rücklaufleitung, damit sich der Filter nicht über die Pumpe entleert; und stromabwärts von Chlorinator oder Heizung, um diese vor Rückfluss zu schützen. Mit PVC-Rohr verkleben, wobei der Pfeil in Fließrichtung zeigt.

Where should a check valve be fitted?

On the suction line when the pump sits above the water level, to keep the pump primed; on the return line to stop the filter draining back through the pump; and downstream of a chlorinator or heater to protect them from back-flow when the pump stops.

Which size do I need?

Match the pipe: CV-50 for 50 mm pipe, CV-63 for 63 mm, CV-1.5 for 1.5 inch and CV-2 for 2 inch. The two-part body is bonded with a special cement and the transparent body lets you see the gate close and confirm any leak-back without dismantling.

Does a check valve add pressure loss?

A small one — the gate opens with the flow and sits fully open at normal circulation. Install it in the flow direction marked on the body, and never on the pump discharge with a closed valve downstream.
