Each kit pairs a pump, filter and valve (or lights, or cleaning tools) that are sized to work together, using the same tables as our pool calculator. Every item is a standard Waterstar catalogue product.
Residential Filtration Set — pools up to 100 m³
Pump, filter and check valve matched to an 8-hour turnover
A 1 HP HyperFlow pump (15 m³/h at typical residential head) with a Ø750 mm top-mount sand filter rated 19 m³/h, so the filter is never driven above its rated flow, plus a 50 mm check valve to keep the pump primed. Sized on the same rules as the pool calculator: 100 m³ ÷ 8 h = 12.5 m³/h. Order the 0.4–0.8 mm sand charge from the filter data sheet.

Villa Filtration Set — pools up to 150 m³
1.5 HP SuperStar pump with a Ø900 mm filter and 2-inch check valve
A 1.5 HP SuperStar pump (22 m³/h at typical head, 2-inch ports) with a Ø900 mm top-mount sand filter rated 32 m³/h and a 2-inch check valve. Sized for a 150 m³ villa pool on an 8-hour turnover (18.75 m³/h) with margin for spa jets or a water feature. Order the sand charge from the filter data sheet.

Underwater Lighting Set — 2 lights
Two 24 W nicheless LED lights with transformer and junction boxes
Two 24 W nicheless LED lights (12–14 V AC, IP68, 3 m cable, warm or cool white) fed by one 200 W safety isolating transformer through two waterproof junction boxes. The transformer runs at 48 W — well inside the 80 per cent rule — and takes a third or fourth light later.

Pool Cleaning Set
Everything to brush, vacuum, skim and test a residential pool
Telescopic handle, 12 m spiral-reinforced vacuum hose, 12-inch flexible vacuum head, curved master brush, leaf skimmer and the OTO/phenol-red test kit — all on the same 29 mm push-clip. Vacuum through the skimmer plate or a vacuum point; test free chlorine and pH before every adjustment.

How the kits are sized
Filtration kits follow the same rule as the pool calculator: pool volume ÷ 8 h turnover = required flow. A 1 HP pump is rated for about 15 m³/h and a 1.5 HP pump for about 22 m³/h at typical head. The filter is then chosen so its rated flow exceeds the pump: the Ø750 mm top-mount filter (0.44 m² at 50 m³/h/m²) is rated 22 m³/h and the Ø900 mm filter (0.64 m²) 32 m³/h.
