Getting Fittings Right

Proper installation of pool fittings is crucial for safety, efficiency, and longevity. Mistakes during installation lead to costly repairs and potential safety hazards.

Skimmer Installation

Position skimmers on the downwind side of the pool for maximum debris collection. The water level should sit at the middle of the skimmer opening. Use a minimum of 2 skimmers for pools over 40m².

Main Drain Safety

Always install dual main drains to comply with safety regulations and prevent entrapment. Space them at least 1 meter apart and ensure anti-vortex covers are properly secured.

Return Inlets

Position return inlets opposite to skimmers to create proper circulation. Adjustable eyeball fittings allow you to direct water flow for optimal distribution.

Floor Inlets

For commercial pools, floor inlets provide superior bottom-to-top circulation. Space them evenly across the pool floor according to the hydraulic design.
