Competition Swimming Pool Equipment

Competition pool equipment made in Egypt: lane ropes, starting blocks, lane rollers, anchor cups and AISI 304 accessories. ISO 9001 factory in Badr City.

One Factory for the Whole Competition Pool

After three decades fitting out racing pools, I can tell you the difference between a smooth handover and a painful one is usually the supply chain. Waterstar manufactures the full competition package in our ISO 9001 factory in Badr City: swim lines, starting blocks, lane rollers, anchor cups and the small stainless hardware that holds everything together. Because every component comes off one production line, the wire locks fit the wires, the springs match the lines and the anchor cups accept the hooks without improvisation on site. Competition pools laid out to FINA and World Aquatics lane conventions need that consistency, and we ship it ready to install across Egypt and 13 MENA export markets.

Lane Systems: Swim Lines and Deck Anchoring

The heart of any racing pool is the lane system. Our SW-1 swim line is built metre by metre with 10 floaters, 10 donut floaters and 1 m of stainless steel wire 4 mm in diameter, on a nylon or stainless steel rope with AISI 304 accessories. It terminates at the deck in our anchor cups, ACC-1 for concrete pools and ACL-1 for liner pools, which sit flush so swimmers and officials never trip over hardware. Read the dedicated lane ropes and anchor cups pages for the full detail; together they form a tensioned system that quells waves lane by lane and keeps racing water calm from the first heat to the last.

Starting Blocks and Line Hardware

A start is won on grip and rigidity. Our SB-1-40 starting block carries a fiber-reinforced anti-slip polyester platform on a stainless steel base, a 40 cm one-step unit suited to training and club competition pools alike. Around the lanes we manufacture the supporting hardware that most suppliers import: the SH-1 wire lock that grips the lane wire, the SS-1 stainless steel spring that keeps lines drum-tight through temperature swings and daily use, and the FLS-1 front line stabilizer that keeps the leading line true. These are small parts, but any coach will tell you a sagging lane line ruins a session faster than anything else on the deck.

Storage Discipline and One-Factory Supply

How a facility stores its lane ropes decides how long they last. Our LR-1 stainless steel float lane roller, made from AISI 304 with a 1.3 m diameter, 1.2 m width and 25 m rope capacity, lets staff wind lines off the water instead of dragging them across the deck. That single habit protects floaters, wires and pool edges for years. Everything on this page is manufactured by Waterstar in Egypt under ISO 9001 and exported to 13 MENA countries. Ask our engineers for a complete competition package from one factory: lanes, blocks, anchors, springs and rollers, specified together and delivered together.
