Competition Swim Lane Ropes
SW-1 competition swim lines made in Egypt: nylon or stainless rope, AISI 304 accessories, 10 floaters and 10 donut floaters per metre. ISO 9001 factory, MENA export.
Swim Line Construction, Metre by Metre
The SW-1 swim line is assembled to a fixed recipe that competition facilities can specify with confidence. Every metre of line carries ten floaters and ten donut floaters threaded over one metre of stainless steel wire of 4 mm diameter, so buoyancy, wave absorption and tensile strength are distributed evenly along the whole lane. All metal accessories are produced in AISI 304 stainless steel to withstand years of immersion in chlorinated water. Because the line is manufactured at the Waterstar factory in Badr City under an ISO 9001 quality system, each batch leaves with consistent floater spacing and wire quality, whether the order covers a single training pool or a complete multi-lane competition venue exported anywhere across the MENA region.
Nylon or Stainless Rope and Calmer Water Between Lanes
SW-1 is offered with either a nylon rope or a stainless steel rope, and the correct choice follows the duty of the pool. Nylon gives a lighter line that club and hotel staff can rig, strike and store frequently without effort, while the stainless steel option suits permanently tensioned competition installations where the line stays under load season after season. During racing the line does far more than mark a boundary: the floaters and donut floaters along each metre break up the bow wave that a swimmer pushes sideways, absorbing its energy before it can roll into the neighbouring lane. Quieter water between lanes means fairer conditions in every heat and a pool that meets the expectations of serious swimming programmes.
Tensioning Hardware That Completes the System
A lane line only performs when it is held taut, and Waterstar manufactures the complete tensioning set alongside the line itself. The SS-1 stainless steel spring maintains constant pull as the wire settles, the SH-1 wire lock grips the 4 mm stainless wire securely at the adjustment point, and the FLS-1 front line stabilizer keeps the head of the line sitting level and firm at the pool wall. Anchored at both ends of the pool, this hardware lets maintenance teams rig lanes quickly for competition and release them just as fast for open swimming. Pool operators are invited to send pool length, lane count and rope preference to the Waterstar factory engineers for a complete swim line specification and quotation.
