Where Moulded Steps Serve Best
Not every access point in a pool calls for a complete ladder assembly. The Waterstar PS step is a moulded polypropylene tread supplied as an individual component, which gives designers and maintenance teams freedom that a one-piece ladder cannot offer. As a replacement part, a single PS step restores a damaged rung without retiring an otherwise sound ladder frame. Treated Against Slipping
A pool step is touched almost exclusively by wet feet, so its surface treatment is not a finishing detail but the core of the product. Each PS step is moulded in polypropylene with an anti-slip treatment applied across the tread face, maintaining grip under the film of water that constantly coats any access step in use. The moulded finish has no applied coating to peel away, so the slip resistance is as durable as the step itself and survives years of scrubbing, chlorinated water and sunlight. For operators, that consistency matters: a step that grips identically on its thousandth day of service is one less variable in the daily safety of guests, swimmers and maintenance staff.
Pairing PS Steps With Waterstar Ladders
The PS step is the same tread fitted across the Waterstar ladder range, where it works between rails of AISI 304 stainless steel complete with mounting bases and stainless screws. Specifying PS steps alongside Waterstar ladders therefore keeps a facility on a single spare-parts standard: one tread fits the two-step, three-step and four-step ladders alike, and the store room needs only one replacement item to cover every access point in the pool.
