Junction Box

Junction box for 12 V pool lighting — the most cost-effective way to feed several underwater lights from one safety transformer. The redesigned junction-box transformer cuts energy loss, and the sealed enclosure gives each lamp cable its own gland and terminal, so a lamp can be changed without disturbing the others. Mount it above the pool water level, at the distance from the pool edge that local electrical rules require, and keep the 12 V cable runs short and of adequate cross-section to avoid a visible drop in brightness on the farthest lamp.
