Filament-wound top-mount sand filter, 20 inch (Ø500 mm). Rated flow 10 m³/h, filtration area 0.2 m², supplied with a 6-way 1.5 inch multiport valve (filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, waste, closed).

WS-1050

Commercial high-rate sand filter, 1050 mm diameter, the smallest of the side-mount range. Filament-wound polyester and fibreglass body and base forming a watertight, anti-corrosive barrier with a chemically resistant outer shell.

WS-1200

Filament-wound side-mount commercial sand filter, Ø1200 mm, for hotel, club and municipal pools. The fibreglass-wound tank is corrosion-free and pressure-tested before dispatch; the side-mounted multiport valve lets the lid be opened for media changes without disturbing the pipework.

WS-2000

Filament-wound side-mount commercial sand filter, Ø2000 mm — the largest in the Waterstar range, for Olympic, water-park and large resort pools.

MPV-T-15

Control unit for managing the pool water system. The top-mount valve seats in the groove on top of the filter with an easy-to-fit two-arm gasket and a port for the pressure gauge.

MPV-T-2

Top-mount control valve for larger filters. It seats in the groove on top of the filter with a gasketed two-arm clamp and a port for the pressure gauge, with three pipe connections (pool line, pump line, drain line), a 63 mm bottom connection for the filter tree pipe and 2 inch threaded heads.

MPV-S-15

Side-mount control valve fitted to the side of the filter, with a single arm, an easy-to-fit gasket and a port for the pressure gauge. Three pipe connections (pool line, pump line, drain line), a 50 mm lower connection for the filter tree pipe and 1.5 inch threaded heads.

MPV-S-2

Side-mount control valve for larger filters, fitted to the side of the filter with a gasketed clamp and a port for the pressure gauge. Three pipe connections (pool line, pump line, drain line), a 63 mm lower connection for the filter tree pipe and 2 inch threaded heads.

FM-4-8-25

Graded silica sand for pool sand filters, 0.4–0.8 mm, 25 kg bag. This is the filtration grade used in all Waterstar residential top-mount filters (Ø500–Ø900 mm / 20"–36") and as the top filtration layer in commercial side-mount filters.

FM-8-12-25

Graded silica sand/gravel for pool sand filters, 0.8–1.2 mm, 25 kg bag. A coarser grade, specified where the filter data sheet calls for an intermediate layer between the 1–2 mm gravel support bed and the 0.4–0.8 mm filtration sand, or for coarse pre-filtration duties. Washed and screened.

PG-1

Pressure gauge panel for monitoring filter pressure. Mounts on the filter or the manifold and shows the working pressure at a glance, signalling when the sand media is loaded and a backwash is due.
